The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), the Orthopaedic Learning Center (OLC) and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) are medical professional organizations that promote the continued advanced education of medical doctors.
Dr. Bacot, along with these organizations, has contributed to a fund raising campaign with a goal to raise a minimum of $7 million in philanthropic and corporate sponsorship funds to help build a new Orthopaedic Learning Center and a new Orthopaedic Headquarters Building in Rosemont, Illinois.
The names of all donors will be unveiled on the Donor Wall at the February 21st, 2015 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
With the many advances in Orthopaedic medicine, Dr. Brian Bacot feels that now is an especially important time to incorporate into the COG medical practice, the many new medical advances new techniques and technologies that will ultimately produce even better results. Even with new technology and medical advances there are still some basic simple actions that we can all do to help prevent or reduce our need for orthopaedic care.
